TapRacers is designed to be a local multiplayer experience.

Local Network Data: To facilitate the 2-player “Join” and “Host” features, the app uses Network Service Discovery (NSD). This involves detecting other devices on the same local WiFi network. This data is used only to establish a connection between players and is not stored or transmitted to external servers.

Device Information: We may access basic non-identifying information (such as your device model and Android version) to ensure the game runs correctly.
2. Permissions Used
To provide the multiplayer racing experience, the app requires the following permissions:

INTERNET: To allow players to connect over a local network.

ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE: Required for the app to discover other players (NSD) on the same WiFi router.
3. Third-Party Services
Our app may use standard Android libraries. However, we do not currently share any user data with third-party advertising or analytics platforms. (Note: If you add Google Ads or Firebase Analytics later, you must update this section.)
4. Data Security
Since we do not collect personal data on a central server, the risk of data breaches is minimal. Communication between devices happens locally on your own WiFi network.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our games do not knowingly collect any personal identifiable information from children. TapRacers is intended for a general audience.
